Math Exceed was developed by a seasoned group of Long Island math educators. And we deliver results based upon thousands of hours of teaching and tutoring math to hundreds of students.

A veteran math educator, Mrs Markowitz has over 3 decades of experience in math education and exam preparation. She has taught math at high school and college levels, and is currently an instructor at CUNY Queens College.

Together with a passion for teaching, her clear style and patience have enabled her to guide so many students towards excellence.

With years of experience teaching honors math classes at high schools in Long Island & NYC, William has been encouraging and challenging students to perform their very best on school and State Exams. 

In additon to mastering the core math material,  William places great emphasis on building his students' confidence so they can exceed their goals.  Whether in the classroom or one-on-one, his consistent support enables his students to perform their best. This extensive classroom experience served as the bedrock for developing the Math Exceed approach.
